We need a food service supervisor for one of our large indoor restaurants on our property! Oversees operations of 10+ employees. Traders Village is the biggest flea market on the Gulf Coast, located at:
7979 N. Eldridge Pkwy

Description:
The Food Service Supervisor oversees and assists in preparing food and beverage inside of a food stand while providing customer service and adhering to all food safety & sanitation procedures. Leadership experience required. Must be able to work on Thursdays through Mondays. MUST WORK WEEKENDS.
Essential Functions –
1. Prepare and build food & beverage items according to the build sheets or recipes.
2. Oversee daily cleaning and sterilization of all dishes and equipment including cooking.
3. Ensure storage of food in a proper and sanitary manner.
4. Utilize inventory sheets to track the movement of products in and out of the stand.
5. Replenishes food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels.
6. Oversee the sets up and break down all work stations.
7. Complete opening and closing checklist.
8. Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
9. Take the internal temperature of all cooked foods and hot/cold holding of foods.
10. Maintain daily temperature logs for freezers, refrigerators, and final cook temperature.
11. Make sure the seating area including the condiment cart, floors, and tables are clean.
12. Notify management and pull food items on the line or in storage that is not safe to serve.
13. Manage a department of 10+ employees, keeping employees on task and following protocol for food preparation and delivery.
Work Environment –
Must be able to work outdoors in different types of weather conditions, or inside of a food stand or restaurant, around commercial grade cooking equipment in a safe manner.
Physical Demands –
1. Requires occasional lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
2. Ability to frequently reach, bend, lift, push, and pull while performing normal job functions.
3. Ability to stand for long hours and walk long distances.
4. Must be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.
Required Education/Experience –
Prior food service experience and leadership experience required. Preferred High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers and TABC Certification.
