Weekend Grounds Cleanup – Traders Village

Join the team at Traders Village, the largest flea market on the Gulf Coast! We are looking for dependable team members to help keep our market clean and welcoming for our guests, vendors, and events.

This is a weekend-only position working Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM at our location at 7979 N. Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77041.

Job Responsibilities

Collect trash throughout the market and place it in designated dumpsters or compactors
Remove full trash bags from trash cans around the property
Break down and transport boxes and waste using carts
Sweep spills and help clean water puddles when needed
Help maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for guests and vendors
Work as part of the Grounds team and report to the Grounds Supervisor

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience is a plus, but not required
Must be reliable and able to work independently
Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions

Physical Requirements

Standing and walking for extended periods
Bending, lifting, and stooping
Lifting up to 40–50 lbs
Ability to stay active and manage assigned areas of the market
