Traders Village - Maintenance Worker (Full-Time)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 A.M. (30-minute lunch)

Location: 7979 N. Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77041

Pay: Based on experience

Reports to: Walter Sheets, Maintenance Manager

Position Overview:
Traders Village is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Worker to support operations across our Flea Market, RV Park, and Self Storage facilities. The ideal candidate is experienced in general maintenace and repairs, operates well in a team enviroment, and is capable of working in varied weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance, including painting, drywall, tile work, flooring, carpentry, and concrete work.
Operate and maintain amusement ride machinery
Handle basic plumbing and eletrical tasks
Conduct demolition and blacktop repairs
Assist customer and vendors as needed
Complete other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand long periods
Work outdoors in varying weather (heat/cold)
Bend, stoop, and lift up to 80 lbs
Walk long distances and communicate clearly with customers and staff
Climb up to 100 feet when necessary
Operate a forklift, golf cart, scissor lift, and tractor

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License (Required)
Experience in maintenance, handyman services, or amusement park rides preferred.
Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work well in a team setting
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a Plus!
