Cashier
Description
This position is WEEKENDS ONLY as a Cashier in our front gate department. Position will begin February 2025.
A Cashier must have strong cash management skills as well as experience in guest service, including but not limited to, balancing, point of sale understanding, telephone skills, and time clock operation. Must have a complete understanding of the cashier process as well as other duties. A cashier must be able to work well under pressure, be a team player, and be customer service oriented.
Requirements
Must have excellent guest service skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Must feel comfortable working with money. (Making change, etc.)
Must understand all sales functions at the front gate.
Must work honestly and efficiently.
Must understand the procedures for credit card transactions.
Must understand the proper use of the telephone system, to include answering incoming calls, transferring calls, voice mail, etc.
Must understand the correct use of the CB (base) radio.
Must follow park safety guidelines and procedures.
Must be willing to help other departments as needed.
Responsible for checking work schedule and being on time when scheduled to work.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Running, being able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, and basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Salary Description
$12.00/hour
