IT Operations Support Technician Location: Grand Prairie, TX (Traders Village) Traders Village is seeking a hands-on IT Operations Support Technician to support staff, devices, and business systems at our Grand Prairie location. Weekend availability is required and is a core part of this role. The position focuses on day-to-day technical support for end users and operational systems during active business hours, where system uptime is critical and downtime directly impacts revenue and customer experience. The role also assists with routine systems and network support under the direction of senior IT staff. This position is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting ability, good organizational skills, and a solid technical foundation who wants to grow in both IT support and infrastructure operations. The right candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks at once, stay organized, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced, live operations environment. What You’ll Do
Provide front-line IT support for staff, workstations, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
Support POS systems and operational technology used for tolls, food, rides, and office operations
Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user issues on-site
Assist with basic network and systems troubleshooting, including switches, wireless connectivity, and device configuration
Support user account tasks in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
Assist with workstation setup, imaging, deployment, replacements, and routine maintenance
Help maintain IT documentation, hardware/software inventory, and support records
Escalate complex infrastructure and systems issues to senior IT staff as needed
Provide regular weekend support during business operations, including remote support for other company locations as needed
This role supports live business operations where downtime directly impacts revenue and customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience
Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows PCs, printers, peripherals, and end-user support
Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, wireless, and VLANs
Basic experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple support issues in a busy operational environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work weekends regularly
Ability to work in a physically active environment (walking the property, supporting outdoor/operational areas as needed)
Knowledge of Ubiquiti hardware is a plus
Associate’s degree in IT or equivalent practical experience preferred
