WEEKENDS ONLY – Cash Control Team Member (21+)

Traders Village Houston is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented candidate to join our Cash Control team.

This position services food stands, toll booths, rides, and other areas where revenue is generated by the market. Duties also include assisting employees with distributing checks and meal tickets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting revenue throughout the market
  • Balancing revenue at the end of the day
  • Counting currency, coins, and credit/debit slips
  • Receiving and issuing till bags to employees
  • Operating cash-counting and office machinery
  • Walking long distances throughout the market or riding in a golf cart, depending on the task
  • Working both inside the Cash Control office and outdoors around the market

Math skills are required, and previous cash-handling experience is a must.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have cash-handling experience
  • Must be able to pass a background check and credit check
  • Must be able to work the following schedule:
    • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (depending on business needs)
    • Sunday: 7:00 AM – 9:00/10:00 PM (depending on business needs)
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to walk long distances
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks as needed
  • Must be comfortable with periods of downtime when activity is slower
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented

This is an indoor and outdoor position.
